Q. Do you do hair and makeup?
A. Sorry but no, I think you'd regret it if you asked me to do that for you (never trust a photographer with hair & makeup it can never end well) we suggest booking an appointment with a beauty therapist for a little pampering first that way you will arrive relaxed and looking great.
Q. I don't really own any nice clothes, will that matter?
A. Not really, photography is all about the art of illusion so if you don't have it we can fake it, we also have costumes & prop clothing available in a few different sizes but you will need to check with us first.
Q. How long will it take?
A. The shoot usually takes about two or three hours, and about one or two weeks or process the order and create your beautiful and original artwork.

All About Restoration FAQ's
Q. So what can you restore?
A. Photo prints up to A4 or 210mm x 297mm, colour photo slides & 35mm photographic film
Q. I want to get an old photo repaired will my print be damaged by the restoration process?
A. No, we take extra special care with all prints, you will receive your original photograph, slide or artwork in exactly the same condition we received it in.
Q. My photo was printed on glossy paper and is now stuck to the glass in it's frame, should I attempt to remove it?
A. No, never attempt to pull a stuck photo off of the glass it will never end well, trust me. Firstly NEVER EVER frame a glossy print. If you intend to frame it then print as either mat, luster or pearl and place the photo behind a mat board to stop the print from touching the glass of the frame. In the tropical conditions we have here in the Whitsundays gloss prints fare very badly and represent the bulk of my modern restorations if you cant live without glossy prints try luster or semi gloss instead it has a far more durable surface and as an added bonus dosn't show up fingerprints.
Q. So my photo stuck to the glass is un-fixable then?
A. No not necessarily, we can scan the image right through the glass and make a restoration copy.
Q. How log does it usually take?
A. I depends on the amount & type of damage really... a severe case could take up to 5 hours to repair a minor tear could be as little as 1/2 an hour regardless a rough quote will be provided so you can decide weather you wish to proceed or not and you will be contacted immediately if any complications arise during the restoration process.
Q. How should I package the prints or slides & film for restoration?
A. Prints should be taken out of their frames unless the image is stuck to the glass in which place please just wrap it up safely.
I recommend individually wrapping very old and fragile prints carefully to prevent them rubbing together during transport & delivery. Slides and film need to be in the correct order for scanning as the scan order will dictate their final file order so please take a moment to organize things and mark which end of the box or packets to start from so there is no confusion during processing.
