We specialise in restoration work and have restored many photographs that were deemed un-repairable by other companies, your precious original photograph will not be damaged or harmed in any way and you will get them back in the exact condition they were received in, we digitally scan the original image with a high resolution scanner then repair a digital copy and new prints are made from this new repaired image. So before you decide that your precious memories are damaged beyond repair speak to me first. We also do professional photographic retouching for portraiture and wedding photography.

Please note, we advise you not to send your original photos through the mail as we cannot guarantee their safety.
Q. How should I package the prints or slides & film for restoration?
A. Prints should be taken out of their frames unless the image is stuck to the glass in which place please just wrap it up safely.
I recommend individually wrapping very old and fragile prints carefully to prevent them rubbing together during transport & delivery. Slides and film need to be in the correct order for scanning as the scan order will dictate their final file order so please take a moment to organise things and mark which end of the box or packets to start from so there is no confusion during processing.

Prints to be retouched if already framed should be taken out of the frame first, if the images are in digital format you may either contact me to arrange for them to be directly e-mailed or if there are many images needing to be edited you may like to burn them onto a CD to be sent via postal mail, "NEVER send the camera card through the mail as it may become lost or damaged in transit". If you live here in the Whitsundays I would be happy to accept the cameras card, prints or CD off of you in person to ensure they remain safe until I can return them to you.
